Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the operation and maintenance of building systems and material handling equipment (MHE) within a client facility. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and continuous improvement of automated packaging and distribution lines.

You will repair and service MHE and robotic systems, document preventive maintenance, and collaborate with the Client and Operations Maintenance teams to ensure optimal facility performance.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining building systems and MHE equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on MHE.
• Experience installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment.

About the Role

In this vital role, you will support the maintenance and operation of the building systems inside a client facility. You will repair, maintain, and continuously improve functionality of material handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems throughout the facility.

What You’ll Do

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to all MHE, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed or assigned.
