Job summary

EIG Services LLC in Monroeville, PA is looking for a Maintenance Technician to keep residential homes operating and repair problems before they worsen. You will perform various repair tasks across sites and coordinate with the Fleet Manager on vehicle maintenance.

The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and landscaping, with a focus on safety and reliability. Must have basic tools and be able to use a phone/email to complete electronic work orders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Valid Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business.
• Basic plumbing knowledge to address leaks and determine when a contractor is needed.
• Basic electrical wiring capabilities to handle building electricity issues.
• Carpentry ability for basic repairs around the building.
• Groundskeeping for outdoor areas.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the maintenance of company vehicles.
• Work with contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Troubleshooting and making routine repairs in painting, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Assess and propose when to contact external contractors for repairs.
• Landscaping and Snow Removal.
• Resolve and complete work orders on time.
• Must have your essential tools.
• Must be able to use a smartphone, email, text, and complete electronic work orders.
• Other building maintenance items as needed.

The Maintenance Technician at EIG Services LLC is responsible for keeping our residential homes operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. A Maintenance Technician will usually be required to perform various repair tasks for Several sites and work with the Fleet Manager on general vehicle maintenance.
