Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair property buildings and grounds, and to prepare vacant units for occupancy. You will manage tools, supplies, and safety, working within OSHA standards and a professional appearance.

The role includes on-call duties and 24-hour response to service requests. The position requires HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge, plus handyman experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining property buildings and grounds.
• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to operate power tools and hand tools.
• Effective communication skills and teamwork.
• Willingness to be on-call and respond to service requests.
• Adherence to OSHA standards and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for daily repair and upkeep of the property and vacant unit preparation.
• Maintain and inventory all supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand for tasks.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain a professional appearance and required uniform.
• Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Secure maintenance shops at close of day.
• Remove snow and ice as necessary.
• Handle lock-outs due to evictions and provide 24-hour service response.

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician!

Maintenance Technicians Maintain the efficient operation and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds in a supportive role.

Responsibilities Include

• Take responsibility for the daily repair and upkeep of the property and the preparation of vacant units for occupancy
• Maintain and keep an inventory of all supplies and equipment
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
• Maintain the required property uniform ensuring a professional appearance
• Be aware of and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times
• Be available to work on an on-call basis
• Secure the maintenance shop(s) at the close of every workday
• Remove snow and ice as necessary
• Handle all lock-outs as a result of evictions and take responsibility for 24-hour response to service requests

Requirements

• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
• Property maintenance/handyman experience

Compensation

Full-Time $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
