Coast Property Management in Milwaukie, OR is hiring a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to keep apartment communities well-maintained and welcoming for new residents. You will perform make-readies, inspect grounds, and handle repairs with supervision as needed.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, reliability, and the ability to work with residents and contract laborers. A strong safety mindset and own/tools ownership are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and apply written, oral, or diagram instructions.
• Previous experience in property maintenance preferred.
• General knowledge of painting and drywall patching.
• Minor appliance repair skills.
• General knowledge about building equipment.
• Ability to evaluate deficiencies and troubleshoot faulty parts.
• Familiarity with plumbing repairs: replace disposals and faucets.
• Handle service calls in a timely manner.
• Maintain good safety habits.
• Own and maintain your own tools.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Able to speak to residents and coordinate with team members and contractors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with apartment make-ready procedures
• Make regular inspections of the grounds and buildings
• Make repairs or replacements as necessary and with Supervisor approval
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
• Available or on-call for after-hours emergencies when assigned

• Handle service calls in a timely manner

• Must have reliable transportation
• Able to speak to residents and maintain good working relations with other team members and any contract laborers working on the property
