Job summary

Peak Management LLC is seeking a ROCKSTAR Maintenance Technician to join our Harbor Pointe community in Milwaukee. You will complete work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and handle apartment-turn tasks to keep our 550+ units in top condition.

We offer a competitive pay range of $17-$27 per hour, on-call rotation, a sign-on bonus, and a benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance and a 401(k) with employer match.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance technician experience in an apartment community or similar setting.
• Practical troubleshooting skills and familiarity with building systems and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills; ability to prioritize and work in a team.
• HVAC certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders, preventive maintenance, and apartment-turn tasks.
• Troubleshoot and perform routine repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and light painting or drywall.
• Maintain property-owned equipment and inventory; order supplies as needed.
• Help care for the grounds and seasonal tasks such as landscaping and snow removal; pool maintenance may apply.
• Respond to after-hours service requests as part of the on-call rotation.
• Provide residents with professional, friendly service.

What You'll Do

Requirements

Physical Requirements

The role involves standing and walking for extended periods, climbing ladders, bending, and working in confined or awkward spaces. It may require lifting up to 50 pounds and walking across properties, using stairs, and working in a variety of weather conditions.
