Base pay range

$45,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all production equipment and machinery are maintained and repaired efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance in a manufacturing environment, particularly within the food and beverage sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures and perform necessary repairs.
• Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance without impacting production schedules.
• Document maintenance activities and keep accurate records of repairs and service history.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of PLC systems and their applications in machinery.
• Experience with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
