Job summary

Geauga Growth Partnership in Middlefield, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operation.

You will inspect, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; coordinate with vendors; respond to requests; and maintain accurate maintenance records while following OSHA safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in facility maintenance, including basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repair.
• Ability to perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment and building systems.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
• Organizational and time-management skills to prioritize multiple work orders.
• Effective communication to collaborate with staff, vendors, and contractors.
• Commitment to workplace safety, including OSHA guidelines.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Prior experience in building or industrial maintenance is beneficial.
