The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of maintenance experience, strong customer service, and the physical stamina to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended shifts. Weekend availability and on-call responsiveness are required to support operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the facility and grounds as per community objectives.
• Operates and maintenance of all on-site equipment following health and safety programs.
• Conducts detailed turnover of apartments with painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and make-ready checklists.
• Responds to work orders promptly; participates in on-call rotation.
• Inspects public areas and apartments to ensure maintenance standards are met; secures tools and equipment.
• Adheres to company policies while delivering high levels of customer service.
• Participates in trainings and safety meetings as needed.

Job Description: Maintenance Technician

Overview

The Maintenance Technician participates in maintaining and enhancing the physical integrity of the community. This position is responsible for ensuring a clean and well-maintained living environment for residents, visitors and staff. The ideal candidate will have the ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast paced, dynamic environment, while maintaining a consistent commitment to an excellent customer experience.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Maintains the facility and grounds based on community objectives
• Follows practices for the safe operation, maintenance and repair of all on-site equipment, including compliance with all health, safety and OSHA programs, policies, and procedures
• Responsible for detailed turnover of apartments, including painting, carpentry, drywall patch/repair, appliance maintenance, and completion of a detailed make ready checklist
• Responds to work orders in a timely manner, including after hours "on call" maintenance requests. Participates in the on-call rotation with the rest of the Maintenance Team
• Assists with the inspection of public areas and resident apartments to ensure proper maintenance and standards are achieved and sustained Keeps storage areas, tools, and equipment secure at all times
• Compliance and attention to company policy while maintaining a high level of customer service
• Participates in training workshops and safety meetings as necessary
