Job summary

Salary Range: $26.00 – $26.00 hourly

Schochet is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician.

Riverside Towers is a 200‑elderly apartment community. The maintenance technician must have electrical, plumbing, HVAC and appliance repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Completion of all types of work orders from residents.
• General daily upkeep of the property.
• Completion of all resident apartment turn over tasks.
• Must be able to be available to complete “On‑call” duties.
• Conducting property inspections and/or participating on an inspection team.
• Complete preventative maintenance activities.

Requirements

Maintenance technician positions require that an individual be able to lift moderate weights of between 30–60 lbs. on a regular basis and be able to stand and/or walk all day. Occasional heavy lifting may be required. Duties of this position may require strength and endurance in performing heavy manual labor.

Alternating on‑call shifts required. Must live within 30 minutes of Medford, MA and have a valid driver’s license and own transportation for on‑call. You will be compensated with a $150 On‑Call Premium pay for the week you are on call. This is in addition to being paid for call time and travel at the current on‑call rate.

Previous maintenance experience required, able to work independently and as a team. Strong customer service skills required.
