Revere Plastics Systems is an industry-leading custom injection molding company seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician at our McPherson, KS facility. You will support engineering and maintenance teams to repair, develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods for our plastic production lines.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and electric machines, robots, and secondary equipment. Read drawings, stay current with tech, and collaborate cross-functionally.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; degree a plus.
3-5 years' experience in troubleshooting injection molding and secondary equipment preferred.
Experience with robotics and programmable controls; ability to troubleshoot and modify programs.
Industrial electrical knowledge or experience preferred.
Experience with plant machinery, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics is a plus.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings is desired.
EOAT Design and Fabrication plus, and valve gate design/installation plus.
Willing to be certified on forklift and scissor lift.
Commitment to staying current with technology via continuous education.
Excellent communication and ability to work overtime when needed.

Description

Our McPherson facility is looking for an individual with experience in plastic injection molding maintenance to work with the engineering and maintenance departments to repair, develop, evaluate, and improve upon manufacturing methods. The technicians will be tasked with troubleshooting and performing repairs to hydraulic and electric machines, robots, and secondary equipment as needed. Troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently and with minimal direction are essential for this position.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required; degree a plus.
3-5 years' experience in troubleshooting injection molding and secondary equipment preferred.
Experience with robotics, programmable controls, including the ability to troubleshoot and modify programs through the appropriate tools highly preferred.
Industrial electrical knowledge or experience is preferred.
Experience working on plant machinery, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics is a plus.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings is desired.
Capability of EOAT Design and Fabrication plus.
Proficiency in valve gate design and installation plus.
Willing and able to be certified on forklift (sit down and standup) and scissor lift.
Must be willing to stay current with technology through continuous education.
Excellent communication skills.
Able to work overtime when needed.
Must wear PPE: Gloves, Safety Glasses, Safety Shoes.

Physical Demands

Able to work independently with limited supervision.
Able to lift, move, push and pull up to 40 pounds frequently.
Bend, stoop, stand, sit and walk up to 8 hours, to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% to 100% of the time.
Able to ascend/descend forklift and standing lift, trailers, steps, ladders etc.
Must have the ability to turn head to look in the direction of travel and able to look up. Must be able to wear the seat belt during forklift operation per OSHA regulation.
