Job summary

Phillips Medisize in Maumelle, AR is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm). You will diagnose equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance, and document activities in the CMMS system to minimize downtime and support quality production in a medical device manufacturing setting.

You will also participate in improvement projects, work on electrical circuits per NFPA-70, and help maintain HVAC and related systems while upholding safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and troubleshoot issues.
• Execute preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and OEE.
• Document repairs and maintenance in the CMMS/ERP system.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement projects for equipment and facilities.
• Follow safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout and machine guarding.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment uptime and OEE through scheduled preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Document maintenance and repairs in the Maintenance Work Order System for compliance.
• Support installations and operational improvements through problem-solving projects.
• Service electrical circuits up to Class 1 per NFPA-70 requirements.
• Maintain HVAC, compressed air, chilled water, and heat pump systems.
• Champion safety and enforce OSHA and company safety requirements.

Phillips Medisize is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team on a 1st Shift (Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm ) at our Maumelle, AR location.

Maintenance Technicians play a critical role in ensuring our buildings, equipment, and grounds operate at peak efficiency, reliability, and appearance. In this role, you will help produce quality products while minimizing production downtime through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities. Successful candidates are self-directed problem solvers who can effectively manage scheduled maintenance activities while responding to unplanned equipment and facility needs.

Our Team

Phillips Medisize is a medical device manufacturer specializing in plastic injection molding. The Maintenance team consists of four technicians and a supervisor who work collaboratively to support both internal and external customers. What You Will Do

• Diagnose equipment malfunctions using appropriate testing equipment and structured troubleshooting methods


• Maintain equipment uptime and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by ensuring preventive and predictive maintenance activities are completed on schedule


• Document maintenance activities and repairs accurately within the Maintenance Work Order System to support internal and regulatory compliance requirements


• Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement projects involving existing and new equipment to support successful installations and operational improvements


• Perform maintenance and repair on electrical circuits up to Class 1 per NFPA-70 requirements


• Perform maintenance and repair activities on HVAC systems, compressed air systems, chilled water systems, and heat pump equipment


• Champion safety by ensuring adherence to OSHA and Phillips Medisize safety requirements, including Lockout/Tagout and machine guarding practices, while reinforcing these expectations with peers

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience performing maintenance, repair, or mechanical troubleshooting in a manufacturing, industrial, commercial, distribution, facilities, or military environment


• Experience performing mechanical repairs, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining building or facility systems

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience performing maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and problem-solving on machines and industrial equipment


• Experience managing preventive maintenance programs within an MRP or ERP system


• Experience collaborating across maintenance, production, engineering, or operations teams to resolve equipment or facility-related issues
