This hands-on role will focus on preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment repairs, and identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability. Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Diagnose emergency equipment breakdowns and complete necessary repairs
  • Troubleshoot and work with electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical equipment
  • Perform welding and fabrication as needed
  • Identify recurring equipment issues and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime
  • Maintain spare parts and inventory for critical equipment
  • Support plant safety initiatives and OSHA requirements
  • Work closely with production and other departments to maintain efficient operations
  • Help identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increased equipment reliability
Requirements for the Maintenance Technician
  • 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience required
  • Automotive manufacturing experience required
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial manufacturing equipment
  • Electronics and welding experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Toyota Production System (TPS) and Just-in-Time (JIT) manufacturing is a plus
  • Ability to work multiple shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Valid passport and ability to travel, including occasional international travel
