Job summary

Toyota Boshoku America in Mississippi seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to support automotive production areas, minimize downtime, and uphold the Toyota Production System. You will assist with predictive and preventive maintenance and ensure reliable operation of production equipment and facilities.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in robotics tuning, electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, pneumatics and welding, with strong problem-solving and adaptability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Industrial maintenance education preferred.
• 2-5 years in robotics tuning, electrical, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance on all production equipment, facilities and utilities to ensure reliability.
• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance with production management.
• General building maintenance and oversight of Sewing, Assembly and Injection Molding areas.
• Manage machine uptime/downtime and support Kaizen activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Responsibilities

I. General Summary: Support the manufacturing areas with plant focus on minimizing down time, increasing productivity and maintain the overall Toyota Production System as well as company policies/procedures.

II. Essential Job Functions

• Support maintenance activities on all production equipment, facilities, and utility systems to provide a reliable production platform.
• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance in conjunction with production management to ensure operability of all plant production equipment

and facilities.

• Perform general building maintenance
• Oversee machines in Sewing area, Assembly area and Injection Molding area.
• Machine uptime/downtime management
• Support Kaizen and other related activities
• Other duties as assigned

Education

III. Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Industrial Maintenance Associates degree preferred

Experience

• 2-5 years experience in robotics tuning, electrical, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication.

Personal/Technical Skills
