Maintenance Technician – Food Production | 1st Shift Available

Location: Manitowoc, Wisconsin

Schedule: Full-Time | 4:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday and rotating 4 hours on Fridays

Pay: $32/hour

We’re currently seeking a Maintenance Technician with food production experience and strong electromechanical skills, especially in high-speed packaging equipment, to support our operations in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

What You’ll Do

• Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on a wide range of production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with the production team to resolve equipment issues and ensure production goals are met.
• Document maintenance activities and manage parts inventory.
• Assist with equipment installations and ensure compliance with safety and food quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance work area.
  
  

What You Bring

• Previous experience in a maintenance role—food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with high-speed packaging machinery and electromechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of GMP, food safety regulations, and sanitary maintenance practices.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate clearly with team members.
• Flexibility to work off-shifts or be on call, if needed.
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications a plus).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in varying temperature conditions.
• Comfortable standing, kneeling, and bending for extended periods.
