Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of the physical plant exterior and interior common areas and individual resident units in the Community in accordance with the companys mission vision and values Responsibilities Basic knowledge of electrical plumbing and HVACAbility to assist with apartment turnovers painting carpet cleaning pressure washingMaintain grounds including pool and spa if applicableMaintain a safe and secure environment for all staff residents and guests following established safety standardsEncourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co workers and other departmentsQualifications Prefer six 6 months of experience in the building industry maintenance andor housekeeping handling the upkeep repair and maintenance of electrical plumbing and structural matters Knowledge of building construction is helpfulMust be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalentMust be able to operate MS Office programs Word Excel etcExcellent customer service skillsStrong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needsPossess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees supervisors physicians healthcare professionals residents and their familiesMust pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests including physical and TB TestsFor the health and safety of our team members and residents Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate participate in daily screening surveillance testing and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment PPE to prevent the spread of the COVID 19 or other communicable diseases per regulatory guidelines
