Aerotek in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a manufacturing team to diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to keep production equipment reliable and safe.
The role requires PLC troubleshooting, reading schematics, and following OSHA safety procedures. This contract-to-hire position offers onsite work on 2nd/3rd shifts with competitive pay and benefits.
The Maintenance Technician works as part of a team to conduct, maintain, test, and repair mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components in a manufacturing environment. This role applies strong mechanical and electrical/electronic knowledge to diagnose equipment malfunctions and restore machinery to safe, efficient operation. The Maintenance Technician provides skilled support to all areas of manufacturing, ensuring production equipment remains reliable and available.

This role is based in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility, providing a comfortable and consistent work setting throughout the year. The position operates on second and third shifts, with second shift running from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and third shift running from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. You will work around production equipment, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics, using tools and test equipment appropriate for industrial maintenance. The environment requires regular walking, standing for the duration of the shift, and the safe lifting of up to 50 pounds. Safety procedures and standards are emphasized, and employees are expected to follow all facility guidelines and practices while working both independently and as part of a team.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, KS.
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
