Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support property operations in Layton, Utah. You will perform daily repairs, maintain building systems, prep vacant units for occupancy, and help keep common areas clean and safe.

Candidates should have knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, plus experience with hand tools and general handyman tasks. This on-site role requires on-call availability and a commitment to OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Experience with property maintenance/handyman tasks.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Willingness to work on-call and respond promptly.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property and prep vacant units for occupancy.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain a professional property uniform.
• Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Secure maintenance shops at close of day.
• Remove snow and ice as necessary.
• Handle lock-outs and provide 24-hour service responses.

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician!

Maintenance Technicians Maintain the efficient operation and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds in a supportive role.

Responsibilities include:

• Take responsibility for the daily repair and upkeep of the property and the preparation of vacant units for occupancy
• Maintain and keep an inventory of all supplies and equipment
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
• Maintain the required property uniform ensuring a professional appearance
• Be aware of and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times
• Be available to work on an on-call basis
• Secure the maintenance shop(s) at the close of every workday
• Remove snow and ice as necessary
• Handle all lock-outs as a result of evictions and take responsibility for 24-hour response to service requests

Requirements:

• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
• Property maintenance/handyman experience

Compensation:

Full-Time $ 19.00 to $ 22.00 per hour
