Job summary

Morgan Properties is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to maintain and repair apartment homes across our 280-unit portfolio. This role emphasizes troubleshooting HVAC, appliances, and plumbing while delivering excellent resident service.

You will manage maintenance requests, perform interior and exterior upkeep, and collaborate with staff to uphold safety and quality standards. A valid driver’s license and 30-minute commute flexibility are expected.

Qualifications

• One year of related maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• HVAC/EPA/CFC certification preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to live within a reasonable commute of the property when needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot service issues including HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas per company standards and laws.
• Respond promptly to maintenance service tickets.

As a Maintenance Technician At Morgan Properties, You Will

• Be responsible for trouble-shooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $21.00 - $23.00/Hr
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Hours & Schedule

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Paid rotating on-call participation required
• Must be available and prepared for emergency events
• *Schedule subject to change based on business needs

What We’ll Expect From You

• Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle
• Ability to live within a 30-minute commute of the property
• HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred
