MEDDERS CONSTRUCTION CO INC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure facilities operate efficiently, inspect for damage, and perform routine maintenance on equipment. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player with prior maintenance experience.

You will be responsible for servicing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, documenting repairs, and implementing preventative maintenance to minimize safety risks. On-call night and weekend availability is expected.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Able to be on-call at nights and weekends.
• Strong work ethic, communication, time management, and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and repair as needed.
• Inspect building for structural damage to windows, doors, and walls; perform repairs.
• Keep records of completed repairs and service history.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to improve efficiency and safety.
• Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs
• Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform necessary repairs
• Keep a record of completed repairs and when the equipment was last serviced
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks
• Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience
• Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
• Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
• Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends
• Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
