The Maintenance Technician will perform professional maintenance (PM’s) and assist the maintenance manager with repairs for equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. The Maintenance Technician is an hourly full-time position that may require work beyond 40 hours per week, including some work after business hours and during non-production times to ensure all duties are performed in a safe and timely manner.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs PMs for machinery and building systems on time, properly, and ensures proper documentation in the maintenance system.
- Develops/Maintains maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
- Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
- Inspects equipment to ensure proper setup and alignment.
- Performs maintenance in accordance with lock out/tag out procedures. Responsible for maintaining updated lock out/ tag out procedures for all machines, in accordance with the OSHA regulations.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
- Follows all policies and procedures in accordance with The Corsi Group Employee Handbook.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment with a focus on production line equipment preferred.
- Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
- Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance.
- Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed.
