Job summary

Premier Housing Management & Development, LLC, Meadowview property in Hibbing, MN, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform daily and preventative building, unit, and grounds maintenance at the community.

The role requires at least two years of residential maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred post-secondary courses in electrical, plumbing, and heating. Candidates must provide their own hand tools and be able to travel to multiple locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Completes general and preventive maintenance daily.

• Performs seasonally appropriate grounds maintenance.
• Removes snow and ice from walkways, steps, and parking lot.
• Ensures a neat and clean property appearance.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot maintenance problems.

Salary Range:$20.00-$25.00 per hour
Hours per week: 40 hours

Job Summary

The Facilities Technician will be responsible for completing daily and preventative building, unit, and grounds maintenance at the properties.

Essential Functions

Completes general and preventive maintenance daily.

• Completes resident maintenance requests and repairs in a timely manner.
• Inspects building/grounds daily and makes needed repairs.
• Inspects vacant units and completes repairs before new resident moves in.
• Assists with preventive maintenance program.

Performs seasonally appropriate grounds maintenance.

• Removes snow and ice from walkways, steps, and parking lot.
• Ensures a neat and clean property appearance.
• Ability to work independentl
• Ability to trouble shoot maintenance problems
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability and willingness to travel to multiple locations as necessary with your own transportation.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of two years residential maintenance experience, building maintenance or residential construction or equivalent certification.
• High School diploma or equivalent certification.
• Post secondary courses in electrical, plumbing and heating or equivalent industry certification preferred.

Other Requirements

• Must provide own hand tools
