Job summary

Premier Housing Management & Development, LLC is seeking a Roving Facilities Technician to maintain multiple properties in Minnesota and out of state as needed, full-time, at $25.00-$30.00 per hour. Background check and drug test are required.

You will perform daily and preventive building, unit, and grounds maintenance, handle resident repair requests, inspect properties, and assist with the preventive maintenance program. Travel to multiple locations with your own transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Two years residential maintenance experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Post-secondary courses in electrical, plumbing or heating preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily and preventive maintenance of buildings, units, and grounds.
• Handles resident maintenance requests and repairs promptly.
• Inspects buildings/grounds daily and makes needed repairs.
• Inspects vacant units and completes repairs before new residents move in.
• Assists with the preventive maintenance program.
• Performs seasonally appropriate grounds maintenance (snow/ice removal).

Salary Range:$25.00-$30.00 per hour

*This position requires traveling to multiple properties in the Twin Cities and other nearby states.*

Job Summary

A Roving Facilities Technician will be responsible for completing daily and preventative building, unit, and grounds maintenance at the properties.

Essential Functions

Completes general and preventive maintenance daily.

• Completes resident maintenance requests and repairs in a timely manner.
• Inspects building/grounds daily and makes needed repairs.
• Inspects vacant units and completes repairs before new resident moves in.
• Assists with preventive maintenance program.

Performs seasonally appropriate grounds maintenance.

• Removes snow and ice from walkways, steps, and parking lot.
• Ensures a neat and clean property appearance.
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to troubleshoot maintenance problems
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability and willingness to travel to multiple locations as necessary with your own transportation.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of two years residential maintenance experience, building maintenance or residential construction or equivalent certification.
• High School diploma or equivalent certification.
• Post secondary courses in electrical, plumbing and heating or equivalent industry certification preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Must provide own hand tools
