Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our milk facility in Hatfield, PA. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to keep operations running smoothly.

You will collaborate with production teams, maintain maintenance records, and ensure safety and quality standards. This role requires reading diagrams and blueprints, and adapting to a fast-paced environment with strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or manufacturing.
• 1+ years of experience with mechanical/electrical repair.
• Knowledge of fabrication, machine shop tools, welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and follow schematics, electrical diagrams, and blueprints.
• LME license preferred.
• EPA Refrigeration Certification preferred.
• Basic PLC knowledge and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in noisy environments.
• Forklift or powered equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Follow diagrams, manuals, and specifications for repairs.
• Troubleshoot and identify malfunctions.
• Inspect and remove defective parts using hand and power tools.
• Measure and adjust part dimensions as needed.
• Communicate preventive maintenance needs and ensure compliance.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Complete daily maintenance paperwork and prepare equipment setups.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment by following procedures and regulations.

Main Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Tech at our milk facility, you'll play a crucial role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and repairing equipment, conducting preventive maintenance to prevent downtime, and ensuring that all machinery meets safety and quality standards. You'll work closely with production teams to address any issues that arise and prioritize maintenance tasks to minimize disruptions to production. We Are Looking For Candidates Who Possess The Following

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 plus years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or manufacturing.
• 1 plus years of experience with mechanical/electrical repair.
• Knowledge of fabrication, machine shop tools, welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and follow schematics, electrical diagrams, and blueprints.
• LME (Limited Maintenance Electrical) License preferred.
• EPA Refrigeration Certification preferred.
• Basic PLC knowledge and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in noisy environments.
• Forklift or powered equipment experience preferred.
