Job Title: Part-Time Maintenance Technician

ELOS Environmental, an Aventia Company, is seeking a skilled Part-Time Maintenance Technician to perform upkeep tasks including repairs and cleaning. Responsibilities involve applying basic fixes to equipment and maintaining tidy and functional facilities.

Reliability, attention to detail, experience, and solid technical knowledge are essential. Candidates should also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning activities such as dusting and mopping.
• Execute minor repairs like fixing locks and filling wall gaps.
• Install appliances and equipment.
• Maintain gardens and yards by mowing, trimming, and trash collection.
• Conduct maintenance such as replacing light bulbs (climbing ladder required).
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g., ventilation).
• Check safety systems like fire alarms.
• Run errands, including driving a company truck.
• Maintain tools and equipment like weed trimmers, vehicles, and tractors.
• Maintain pool upkeep.
• Travel to multiple locations as required.
• Assist with event preparations and cooking.
• Report issues to management.
• Be available for after-hours and weekend work when needed.

Minimum Requirements and Skills

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with hand and electrical tools.
• Ability to pull and back up trailers.
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina and dexterity.
