Job summary

ALPLA Puerto Rico, Guayama facility, is seeking a maintenance technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve production equipment and utilities to ensure safe, reliable operation in a regulated manufacturing environment.

The role requires executing preventive and corrective maintenance, supporting continuous improvement, and complying with GMP and safety requirements. English and local language skills are required, and travel for work may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or vocational training in mechanical/electrical maintenance.
• Experience in maintenance of manufacturing equipment, preferably in pharmaceutical, medical device, or regulated industries.
• Knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Understanding of GMP and safety requirements.
• English and local language skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willing to travel for work.
