Job summary

Wallick Communities in Greensburg, KY is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our affordable housing and assisted living communities in top condition. This full-time role includes 24/7 on-call coverage and a pay rate of $21–$24 per hour, depending on experience.

You will complete work orders, prepare units for new residents, respond to emergencies, document work, and maintain required certifications while supporting residents with timely, quality repairs.

Qualifications

• 1 year of maintenance work with some plumbing and/or electrical knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Commitment to customer service and quality repairs.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve issues as they arise.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Keep required certifications up to date.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders using our technology.
• Manage unit turns for new residents as directed.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls, including on-call shifts.
• Maintain high standards and document work.
• Stay certified for required role certifications.

What You’ll Do

• Handle Emergencies: Respond to emergency maintenance calls, including on-call shifts when needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: At least 1 year of maintenance work with some plumbing and/or electrical knowledge.

• Dependability: A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a great work ethic.
