Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in North Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep facility equipment running safely and efficiently. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, strong mechanical and electrical skills, ability to read blueprints, and to lift up to 40 lbs. Forklift training will be provided.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills are required or preferred.
• Ability to read basic machine blueprints and use hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the safe working condition of facility equipment, building, and grounds.
• Constructs fixtures as required.
• Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment as scheduled.
• Repairs facility equipment, fixtures, building, and grounds; removes and/or installs fixtures and equipment for safe operation.
• Troubleshoots systems to find causes of failures and recommends solutions for repair.
• Maintains cleanliness, functionality, and efficiency of maintenance equipment, tools, and fixtures.
• Other duties will be assigned as needed.

This maintenance mechanic will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is operating safely and efficiently by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following diagrams, reading operations manuals and troubleshooting malfunctions.

Job Requirements

• Ability to use hand tools and basic machine shop equipment
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
