Role Description The Maintenance Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Greensboro, NC. This role is responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance on building systems, equipment, and facilities, including inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and structural issues. Day-to-day tasks include conducting preventive maintenance, responding to service requests, completing work orders, and coordinating with supervisors and other team members to prioritize tasks. The Maintenance Technician will also ensure that tools, parts, and supplies are maintained and organized, follow safety procedures and regulatory guidelines, and communicate clearly with property managers and occupants about work performed and timelines.

Qualifications

• Strong equipment-focused skills, including Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair.
• Solid diagnostic abilities, including Troubleshooting and Industrial Maintenance experience.
• Experience implementing Preventive Maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Knowledge of basic building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) and general facility maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Commitment to safety, including proper use of tools, PPE, and adherence to OSHA or similar standards.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
