Job summary

Scotts Miracle‑Grou is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Geismar, LA. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic systems on production equipment.

The position requires firsthand maintenance experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the stamina to perform repetitive motions. The company offers comprehensive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Prior relevant maintenance experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to perform prolonged and repetitive motions: standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, climbing, reaching overhead, and hand dexterity.
• Ability to lift minimum 50 lbs.
• Teachable attitude and ability to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to read numbers, product descriptions, and maintain written records.
• Ability to push button, monitor controls, and perform basic math functions.

Location: Geismar, LA.

Hourly rate: $25.95 – $35.05 per hour, paid weekly.
