Job summary

Air Liquide Advanced Materials in Fremont, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain production and engineering operations. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years industrial maintenance experience.
• Gas (Pressure) system knowledge and operation.
• Ability to pass respiratory/physical tests for respirator use.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• Read and interpret P&ID or engineering drawings.
• Basic electronic, carpentry, plumbing and electrical skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Assist in promoting safety and organization in the maintenance dept. Continues review and updating of Work Instructions Recommended preventative maintenance intervals based on repair data Responsible for the execution of the Preventative Maintenance Program and the Monitoring andMeasuring Devices Program. Specialize in Engineering improvement construction projects, ensuring that projects have awell-defined scope and schedule which has been reviewed by all affected parties. Recommended spare parts inventory levels Be able to write Purchase Requisitions for needed parts Be able to perform all component rebuilds and calibrations. Understand and follow the process flow within chemical processing equipment . Understand and perform valid leak checks Follow all work instructions and safety protocol Organize and sort information using available computer software. Successfully complete all assigned training Must be and remain clean shaven at all times Ability to wear a full face tight fitting respirator and a fully encapsulated (Level A) ER suit, SelfContained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), or any other tight-fitting and/or supplied air respirators(SAR) Ability to roll cylinders- Rolling cylinders requires an individual to tilt a cylinder slightly with onehand, and use the other hand to move the cylinder forward by rolling it. Fitness for duty, including but not limited to: ability to lift 50 pounds and have the ability toclimb ladders.
