Job summary

Included is troubleshooting and repair of equipment associated with all gas manifolds and the associated facility equipment. Shift work that will include nights and weekends and holidays.# **Air Liquide is hiring for a Maintenance Technician in Fremont, CA!****We are looking for you!*** **Salary Range:**$28- $35/hour* **Annual Bonus:** 5%* **Work schedule**: 8 Hours Shift Mon - Fri## ## Responsibilities include but are not limited to:## ● Installation and/or modification of chemical processing equipment as well as the repair and troubleshooting of auxiliary equipment associated with all chemical processing equipment and other facility equipment. ● Assist in promoting safety and organization in the maintenance dept. ● Continues review and updating of Work Instructions ● Recommended preventative maintenance intervals based on repair data ● Responsible for the execution of the Preventative Maintenance Program and the Monitoring and Measuring Devices Program. ● Specialize in Engineering improvement construction projects, ensuring that projects have a well-defined scope and schedule which has been reviewed by all affected parties. ● Recommended spare parts inventory levels ● Be able to write Purchase Requisitions for needed parts ● Be able to perform all component rebuilds and calibrations. ● Understand and follow the process flow within chemical processing equipment . ● Understand and perform valid leak checks ● Follow all work instructions and safety protocol ● Organize and sort information using available computer software. ● Successfully complete all assigned training ● Must be and remain clean shaven at all times ● Ability to wear a full face tight fitting respirator and a fully encapsulated (Level A) ER suit, Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), or any other tight-fitting and/or supplied air respirators (SAR) ● Ability to roll cylinders- Rolling cylinders requires an individual to tilt a cylinder slightly with one hand, and use the other hand to move the cylinder forward by rolling it. ● Fitness for duty, including but not limited to: ability to lift 50 pounds and have the ability to climb ladders. ● Actively participate on ALAM’s emergency response (ER) team including as an ER entry team member, which requires wearing a tight fitting full-face respirator## \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_## ## Are you a MATCH?● High school diploma or GED ● 3+ years Industrial Maintenance experience, preferably in chemical industry or industry related to fluids systems Gas (Pressure) system component theory and operation ● Ability to medically pass a respiratory test and physical test in order to wear a full face respirator as required ● Fitness for duty, including but not limited to: ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders ● Ability to roll cylinders that weigh up to 200lbs - Rolling cylinders requires an individual to tilt a cylinder slightly with one hand, and use the other hand to move the cylinder forward by rolling it. ● Able to read and construct from a P&ID or Engineering drawing ● Basic electronic, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills ● General Maintenance skills ● Tube bending skills ● Effective communication skills ● Ability to roll cylinders- Rolling cylinders requires an individual to tilt a cylinder slightly with one hand, and use the other hand to move the cylinder forward by rolling it. ● Fitness for duty, including but not limited to: ability to lift 50 pounds and have the ability to climb ladders. ● Actively participate on ALAM’s emergency response (ER) team including as an ER entry team member, which requires wearing a tight fitting full-face respirator**Preferred Qualifications:** ● Gas (Pressure) system component theory and operation ● Vacuum system component theory and operation ● Previous emergency response experience or certificationIn addition to the tasks listed above, the technician shall perform all other duties as assigned to ensure operational continuity.
