Atlantic Pacific Companies is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for the 312-unit Village of Hawks Creek in Westworth Village, TX. The role covers routine maintenance in apartments, common areas, and amenities, plus preparing vacant units for new residents and preventive tasks.

Requirements include 1–2 years of maintenance experience, EPA I/II or universal HVAC certification, and a plus for CPO certification and pool maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with 1–2 years of maintenance experience in an apartment community
• EPA I/II or Universal HVAC certification required
• CPO certification is a plus and pool maintenance experience preferred
• Must have supervisory experience and strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and related systems
• Experience with property management software (OneSite/Yardi) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair buildings and systems (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, pools, elevators, fire systems)
• Complete service requests within 24 hours under direction of supervisor/manager
• Log and complete apartment service tickets promptly
• Turnover vacant units through cleaning, painting, and carpet cleaning
• Replace worn or damaged parts and assist in ordering supplies
• Clean internal and external building areas and maintain grounds

Our Company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Apartment Maintenance Technician for our Market Rate Apartment Community, Village of Hawks Creek, of 312 units in Westworth Village, Texas.

Job Description Summary

The Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance in individual apartments, common areas and amenity areas. Prepares vacant units for new move-ins. Performs routine preventive maintenance. Assists in various cleaning functions and assists in monitoring the grounds. Maintains and repairs physical structures of buildings and maintains grounds by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs buildings: areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, landscaping, painting, cleaning, appliances, pools, utilities, elevators, fencing/gates, and fire systems.


• Responsible for completing all service requests/ work orders at the direction of the maintenance supervisor or property manager as required within 24 hours.


• Complete apartment service tickets and log all assigned work orders accurately and in a timely fashion.


• Manage vacant apartments by preparing them through the turnover process so apartments are ready to lease to new prospects. The work includes the maintenance of the unit, painting, cleaning and carpet cleaning.


• Replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts, in machines and equipment such as truck, street sweeper and other equipment used within the maintenance department.


• Assists in ordering supplies for the property.


• Cleans internal and external areas of buildings, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, washes windows.

Requirements

• High School diploma, or GED equivalency, and minimum of 1-2 years direct experience as a Make Ready or Maintenance Technician for an apartment community, or equivalent combination of education and experience.


• EPA I or II, Universal or HVAC certified is required.


• CPO Certification is a plus and experience maintaining pools is required.


• Must have supervisory experience.


• Thorough understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, carpentry, landscaping, painting, cleaning, appliances, utilities, elevators, fencing/gates, and fire systems.


• Experience with Onesite, Yardi, or other property management software is a plus
