Job summary

Associa seeks a Maintenance Technician in Fort Lauderdale, FL to support upkeep of residential communities and assist the lead technician. You will address resident requests, perform preventive maintenance, and help keep building systems, grounds, and amenities in top condition.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of related experience, can lift heavy loads, and is available for a full-time schedule with hands-on maintenance and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of directly related maintenance experience
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs

• Assist the lead Maintenance Technician in daily duties

Hourly pay rate: $18.00 - $22.00 (according to experience)

Work schedule: Full-time. With one week being Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and the following week being Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Requirements:

• Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and clients
• May be required to provide own basic tools (power drill, power saw, screwdrivers, level, hammer, etc.)
• At least 2 years of directly related or closely related experience

• Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely operate, climb, and perform work on ladders (1-2 stories) - 24-28ft.
