Job summary

Envolve Community Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join Union Hill Apartment Community in Forsyth, GA. The role focuses on general maintenance and repairs with specialized skills in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, and supporting the Maintenance Supervisor.

You will perform preventive and on-demand repairs, handle appliance and fixture work, complete work orders, and deliver exceptional customer service to residents. Emergency calls and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Three+ years of Maintenance Technician experience.
• Must be able to move heavy equipment safely.
• Available for emergency maintenance calls 24/7; typical hours 8am–5pm, Mon-Fri; potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Repair apartment appliances, water heaters, electrical fixtures, bulbs, sinks, and basic carpentry.
• Perform preventive maintenance as needed.
• Complete work orders and related documentation for maintenance operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents.

Envolve Community Management owns and professionally manages apartment communities located in select markets throughout the southeastern United States.

Currently, Envolve is searching for a Maintenance Technician to work at Union Hill Apartment Community in Forsyth, GA.

The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs and apply specialized skills in areas such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical as well as assist the Maintenance Supervisor.

Description

The successful candidate must have experience in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. A commitment to exceptional customer service is critical. The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs and apply specialized skills in areas such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical as well as assist the Maintenance Supervisor.

Duties

• Must possess the ability and tools to repair apartment appliances, water heaters, electrical fixtures, bulbs, commodes, sinks, basic carpentry and any general maintenance repairs that may arise.
• Knowledge to perform preventive maintenance duties as needed.
• Complete work orders and forms to assure all documentation regarding operations of maintenance equipment is completed properly.
• A commitment to exceptional customer service is critical.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate has HVAC certification (preferred)
• Three plus years of Maintenance Technician experience.
• Must be able to move heavy equipment safely, using proper equipment.
• This candidate must be available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Normal work hours are usually between 8am – 5pm, Mon-Fri (may vary slightly based on season) with occasional overtime required.
• Background Screening and Drug Test Required
