Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues across a broad range of machine tools. You will install, level, align, test, and repair electrical and hydraulic systems, perform preventative maintenance, and participate in rebuild projects.

Proficiency with CNC troubleshooting, welding, and reading complex schematics is required. The role requires familiarity with Fanuc, Mazak Mazatrol, Siemens, Okuma OSP, Haas, and Renishaw systems;

Qualifications

• Strong experience diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues across a wide range of machinery.
• Ability to repair, install, and maintain a broad range of machinery and equipment.
• Experience with CNC equipment troubleshooting (mechanical & electrical).
• Ability to read and create schematics: hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, PLC ladder logic, mechanical drawings.
• Welding and fabrication skills (MIG/TIG).
• Comfortable with shop math and industrial formulas.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues across a wide range of machine tools.
• Perform installation, leveling, ballbar testing, laser alignment, maintenance, and repairs.
• Install and repair electrical/electronic systems on machines and facility equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and plant systems.
• Diagnose, disassemble, repair, align, and reassemble mechanical components.
• Install equipment and perform rigging operations.
• Test mechanical and electrical systems following repair or installation.
• Create, read, and update technical drawings, schematics, and PLC documentation.
• Participate in rebuild projects including hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC wiring, programming, and mechanical systems.
• Perform CNC equipment upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with internal and external technical resources for parts and repairs.
• Follow all safety procedures.
