Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks in order to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities, equipment, and systems. This includes routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance. This position will also require some occasional light travel between properties in Fayetteville, Raleigh RPT, and Goldsboro.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls.
• Troubleshoot issues with machinery, electrical systems, and HVAC units.
• Perform routine maintenance such as painting, carpentry, and general cleaning of the facility.
• Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment and systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections.
• Participate in preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Order and maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to complete projects as needed.
• Provide emergency maintenance support during off-hours or weekends, if required.

Working Conditions:

• May require working in various weather conditions and environments.
• May need to work evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in maintenance or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment and systems.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
• A valid driver’s license may be required, depending on the location.

Compensation

$18 - $21 hourly
