Goodwill of Greater Washington is seeking a Maintenance Associate to perform building upkeep across the Washington DC metro area. You will handle plumbing, drywall, painting, and fixture repair under supervision, traveling daily to multiple locations.
The role requires a high school diploma, 1–3 years of maintenance experience with driving between sites, own reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Responsible for completing assigned tasks relating to maintenance and repair of the organization's facilities and properties. This associate must have reliable personal transportation and be able to travel daily to various locations within the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The associate will perform strenuous work on a regular basis. The Associate must be able to work a regular Monday – Friday daytime schedule and a rotating on call schedule that includes evenings, weekends and/or holidays (including answering and dispatching emergency calls as needed). This position is responsible and will be held accountable for behaving in accordance with divisional and organizational RISE values and expectations.
