Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY in Englishtown, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs (faucets, lighting), respond to maintenance requests, and prepare apartments for new residents. You will help maintain safety and cleanliness across the community and assist with events.

Ideal candidates will have prior maintenance or janitorial experience, a positive attitude, and enjoy a busy, hands-on role. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Maintenance, housekeeping and/or janitorial experience.
• You have a positive attitude and love working with people.
• You like to be busy with a variety of tasks and can fix things when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repairs such as fixing faucets and replacing light fixtures.
• Assist in implementing safety protocols across the community.
• Clean and prepare apartment homes for new residents.
• Ensure proper storage of maintenance supplies.
• Monitor all areas to ensure they are properly and safely maintained.
• Assist team with setting up activities and events.

What will you get to do as a Maintenance Technician?

• Perform a variety of Maintenance repairs such as fixing faucets, replacing light fixtures, helping implement safety protocols, painting and more!
• Respond to Maintenance requests from our residents and from fellow associates.
• Clean and prepare apartment homes for new residents.
• Ensure proper storage of all maintenance supplies.
• Continuously monitor all areas of the community and grounds to ensure they are properly and safely maintained.
• Help team members set up activities and events at the community.
