Metropolitan Management Group (MMG) is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team! If you have experience or training in residential or commercial maintenance repair, this may be the job for you!

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining residential apartments and supporting facilities as assigned to achieve the highest level of resident satisfaction and retention. This position requires the ability to follow detailed instructions to execute repairs, installations and overall maintenance of projects on an assigned property.

Residential maintenance repair and service includes general cleanup of the apartment community, apartment turns as assigned, upkeep of grounds and parking lot, general work orders for residents, painting and repair of apartments for turns and various maintenance repair tasks using hand tools and small power tools. Experience in electrical, plumbing, appliances, painting/drywall, carpentry, heating and air handling systems is a plus. The candidate will be service oriented and able to perform tasks in a professional, orderly and timely manner. Maintenance must follow safety regulations and standards at all times and all MMG policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain residential apartments and supporting facilities to achieve resident satisfaction and retention.
• Execute repairs, installations, and overall maintenance projects on assigned properties following detailed instructions.
• Perform residential maintenance repair and service, including general cleanup, apartment turns, grounds upkeep, parking lot maintenance, and general work orders.
• Use hand tools and small power tools for painting, repair, electrical, plumbing, appliances, drywall, carpentry, heating, and air handling system tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards, and all MMG policies and procedures.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• High School diploma or GED.
