Metropolitan Management Group (MMG) is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team! If you have experience or training in residential or commercial maintenance repair, this may be the job for you. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the residential apartments and supporting facilities as assigned to achieve the highest level of resident satisfaction and retention. This position requires the ability to follow detailed instructions in order to execute repairs, installations and overall maintenance of projects on an assigned property. Residential maintenance repair and service to include general cleanup of the apartment community, apartment turns, upkeep of grounds and parking lot, work orders for residents, painting and repair of apartments for turns and various maintenance repair tasks using hand tools and small power tools. Experience in electrical, plumbing, appliances, painting/drywall, carpentry, heating and air handling systems is a plus. The candidate must be service oriented and able to perform tasks in a professional, orderly and timely manner while following safety regulations, standards and all MMG policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Execute repairs, installations and overall maintenance of assigned property, including general cleanup, apartment turns, grounds maintenance, ticket resolution, painting, and use of hand and small power tools.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• High School or GED
• One year of prior related experience is preferred but not required.
