Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot electrical systems, including AC-DC circuits, using electrical measuring instruments, with knowledge of Ohm's law and Kirchhoff's laws.
• Handle industrial control components, read schematics, and perform troubleshooting following diagrams.
• Work with pneumatic and hydraulic components, reading schematics, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Ensure machinery and mechanical equipment operate efficiently by performing preventive maintenance and process troubleshooting.
• Identify problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for issues, and using precision testing instruments.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies by checking stock levels and anticipating needs.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety procedures and regulations.
• Perform minor welding, brazing, and cutting torch work.
• Make minor repairs to trucks, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Operate Jib Cranes and Forklifts safely.
• Wear appropriate safety equipment and follow safety rules at all times.
• Perform minor building repairs, including masonry, carpentry, and cement work.
• Set up and operate metalworking tools like lathes, drill presses, and grinders to make and repair parts.
• Assist in other areas of the plant as needed.
• Follow any additional instructions and perform other duties as assigned.
• Report any food safety issues to senior management.
• Initiate purchase requests for parts or machinery as needed.

Physical Demands

• Standing: Most tasks require standing with frequent walking.
• Lifting: Frequently lift items weighing 20 to 75 lbs. Crain Hoists are available.
• Walking: Frequent short-distance walking (about 200 feet or less).
• Carrying: Regularly carry items weighing 20 to 75 lbs. Crain Hoists are available.
• Bending: Frequently required for assembly tasks.
• Reaching: Full range of motion from above shoulders to below knees.
