Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP in El Dorado, KS seeks a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment across multiple trades, including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and janitorial equipment. You will perform routine and predictive maintenance, diagnose issues, use hand and power tools, operate scissor lifts, and maintain logs.

Shifts are Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a rate of $19–$21 per hour.

Qualifications

• Six months minimum experience in a company setting or equivalent training (basic plumbing, painting, HVAC, or construction).
• Two years electrical experience minimum.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and predictive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and repair.
• Operate hand and power tools, ladders and scissor lifts safely.
• Maintain maintenance logs and schedules.
• Maintain a clean work area and workspace safety.
• Communicate issues clearly with team and customers in a professional manner.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for safely performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in one or more fields (carpentry, paint, electrical, janitorial equipment, HVAC, vehicle/golf cart etc.).

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

• Self-Starter with Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Perform routine and predictive maintenance
• Perform general cleaning and maintains clean work area
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment, electrical & mechanical issues and then repair
• Comfortable communicating complex issues with superior, co-workers and customers in a professional manner
• Proven ability to work safely in industrial environments
• Familiar with and utilize proper Lock Out/ Tag Out safety procedures
• Perform preventative equipment maintenance and repairs on all floor equipment, scrubbers, chariot vacuums, extractors, etc.
• Respond positively to requests in a timely manner
• Ability to use hand and power tools, use of scissor lifts, ladders and scaffolding. Soldering and welding a plus
• Maintain maintenance logs and schedules

Must complete all safety, environmental and task training and or certifications.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

May required to have a valid driver’s license. Forklift and electric pallet jack certification may be required.
