Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our heat-treating facility. This role emphasizes hands-on industrial maintenance, preventative maintenance, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment and systems.

The ideal candidate has >=5 years in heavy manufacturing heat-treat environments, strong hydraulics/pumps/mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read drawings and manuals. Lifting 50 lbs and working in high temperatures are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a heavy manufacturing or heat treating environment.
• Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, pumps, mechanical systems, and welding/fabrication.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures and industrial safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work in high-temperature environments, and operate industrial tools/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and heat-treating equipment
• Diagnose and repair issues involving hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, and mechanical components
• Conduct welding and light fabrication to maintain and modify equipment as needed
• Maintain furnaces, quench tanks, cooling systems, and other heat treating machinery
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and equipment records
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Ensure all maintenance work is performed in compliance with safety standards and company procedures

This role requires hands-on experience with heavy industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, proactive in preventative maintenance, and able to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment and systems.
