About The Maintenance Technician Position At Southpoint Crossing
We’re looking for a talented maintenance technician responsible for apartment and property maintenance duties, maintaining high standards in customer service and curb appeal.
- Perform repairs: electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds maintenance as per guidelines.
- Perform general carpentry: wallboard, countertops, finish carpentry, window/glass, door/lock, ceramic tile.
- Proactive maintenance: siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, elevator, and more.
- Maintain work order system ensuring timely completion and resident satisfaction.
- Inspect grounds, buildings, amenities for safety and cleanliness, addressing issues.
- Assist with emergencies: snow removal, fires, floods, etc.
- Communicate with maintenance leadership about issues.
- Promote safety and risk management per regulations.
- Participate in emergency on-call/after-hours maintenance.
- Maintain professionalism and promote safety standards.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, interacting professionally with residents.
- Foster positive relationships with residents and agencies.
- Maintain professional appearance and adhere to uniform policy.
- Follow all risk management policies.
Education And Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year in property management maintenance.
- Experience with Yardi software preferred.
- General maintenance and carpentry skills.

- Valid driver’s license, clean record, auto insurance.
