Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift (Zing)

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent automotive Tier 1 manufacturer in the Duncan, SC area, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their 2nd shift team! This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-tech facility that offers full benefits, 401K, and long-term career growth.

Maintenance Technician Job Summary

Pay: Competitive pay with an additional $1.00/hour shift differential

Shift Available

2nd Shift: 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM (Must be flexible to support production)

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventive and emergency maintenance to ensure operational uptime.
• Conduct safety audits, perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and maintain maintenance records.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant work environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement, safety, and environmental programs (including ISO14001).
• Order parts, manage spare inventory, and ensure contractor safety compliance.
  
  

Maintenance Technician Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience is required. Automotive Tier 1 experience is a must-have.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, PLC/PC systems, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
• Must possess effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods.
• Maintain alertness and proper vision to perform tasks safely.
