Job summary

Mercury is seeking a hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our team. You’ll perform routine maintenance on critical building systems and inspect facilities to ensure safety and reliability. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of maintenance experience and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach.

Responsibilities include servicing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, keeping repair logs, and developing preventative maintenance plans. On‑call availability nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems.
• Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques.
• Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends.
• Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.

• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs
• Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform necessary repairs
• Keep a record of completed repairs and when the equipment was last serviced
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks
• Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed
