Job summary

Sage Ventures, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Baltimore/Washington region team. Under supervision, you will maintain and repair facility equipment, fixtures, and grounds, while delivering strong customer service to residents and property staff.

Responsibilities include HVAC maintenance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, and completing work orders. On-call duties rotate weekly; a valid driver's license and own tools are required.

Qualifications

• HVAC and appliance repair knowledge with at least one year of experience
• General maintenance knowledge
• Depends on location, may require dependable transportation and valid driver's license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work with minimal supervision
• Good communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on HVAC systems
• Carry out make-readies and complete work orders
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs

Maintenance Technician

Sage Ventures is a full-service vertically integrated residential development and investment firm. As a collaboratively run corporation, we develop, own, rehabilitate, sell, and manage exceptional properties throughout the greater Baltimore/Washington region.

Position Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures, in addition to performing grounds maintenance.

Essential Functions:

• HVAC - preventative maintenance, repair, and installation
• Make readies
• Turns and work orders
• Electrical
• Plumbing
• Carpentry
• Appliance repair
• Excellent customer service experience required
• Must be willing to be on call one week at a time on a rotation basis

Requirements:

• HVAC and appliance repair knowledge with at least one year of experience
• General maintenance knowledge
• Depending on location, may be required to have dependable transportation and valid driver's license
• Able to work well with minimal supervision
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• General knowledge of safety rules and regulations
• Good communication and customer service skills
