Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Deptford, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Building Operations team. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems, working to help tenants and facilities teams.

Strong mechanical skills and the ability to travel between sites are essential for success. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of commercial maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification preferred, not required.
• Strong English communication, written and verbal.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel site to site.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on building systems, following safety rules and procedures.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building issues.
• Respond to service requests and emergency calls, 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Conduct property inspections, complete maintenance logs, and manage work orders.
• Assist with construction projects, tenant improvements, and capital renovations.

Our client in Deptford, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Building Operations Department supporting property management, tenants, and facilities teams. The ideal candidate will have strong work ethic, strong mechanical skills, excellent communication skills,the ability to work independently, and the ability to travel from site to site. — all essential for success in this role.

What will you be doing?

• Highly Preferred Fire Suppression experience.
• Respond to service requests, tenant concerns, and emergency calls (24/7 on-call rotation).
• Conduct property inspections, complete maintenance logs, and manage work orders.
• Assist with construction projects, tenant improvements, and capital renovation coordination.
