POSITION OBJECTIVES AND PURPOSE:

As a Full-Time Maintenance and repair Technician, you can expect engaging and hands-on experience! The purpose of the Maintenance Technician is to provide general maintenance and construction support to all company-owned and company-managed production facilities, including but not limited to plumbing, welding, carpentry, painting, electrical and machine and vehicle servicing, and manure application.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Maintain, repairandrebuild various production mechanisms and equipment to ensure effective operation, including but not limited to loading chutes, crates, gates, ventilation system components, curtains, power washers, feed and watersystems


• Provide general maintenance and upkeep on buildings to prevent deterioration, including but not limited to building partitions, walls, roofs & roof systems, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, concrete repairsandother parts of buildingstructures


• Perform general, preventative maintenance service and repairs on air-conditioning and heatingsystems


• Provide general plumbing repair andinstallation


• Ensure the proper planning and completion of new construction, minor remodelingandad hoc projects asassigned


• Develop and maintain knowledge in the procedures and safety measures in the areas of plumbing, welding, carpentry, painting, machine servicing, electrical and/or vehicleservicing


• Adhere to all company vehiclepolicies,and follow all local, stateandfederal regulations associated with operating a motorvehicle


• Demonstrate, promoteandadhere to all Company safetypolicies


• Be knowledgeable and adhere to all Company bio-securityprotocols


• Assist with barn chores as neededassignedbysupervisor, thiscan include manure application

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Working knowledge of general mechanical skills, including general carpentry, welding, electrical, plumbing & concrete experience


• Strong communication and multi-tasking skills


• Previous plumbing, painting, machine servicing, electrical and/or Agriculture experience preferred
