Job summary

Axia Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Villas at Old 441 in Demorest, GA. This full-time position keeps apartments safe, clean, and ready for new residents, handling repairs, make-readies, and routine maintenance in a residential community.

You will diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, painting, flooring and carpentry, participate in on-call rotation, and coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to prioritize work while

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, painting, and general maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests promptly, professionally, and with a customer-first attitude.
• Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents by completing quality make-readies on schedule.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, painting, flooring, and general carpentry issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community.
• Maintain the appearance and functionality of common areas, amenities, and grounds.
• Assist with emergency maintenance and participate in an on-call rotation.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to prioritize daily work and achieve team goals.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Deliver exceptional service while building positive relationships with residents and team members.
